BTG Advisory advised the shareholders of a specialist jewellery business whose products are sold via a network of funeral directors.
As a leader in its marketplace with no obvious direct potential competitor acquirers, our deal advisory team carried out a detailed review of the market to identify potential acquirers, both in the UK and across Europe, and also utilising its extensive network of contacts.
We held detailed discussions with several potential acquirers and heads of terms were entered into with the most appropriate party – a jewellery and silversmith business.
Further advice was provided throughout the financial and legal due diligence process, and in the negotiation of the legal documentation, to ensure that all matters were dealt with in the best interests of the vendors and with their full knowledge.
Following the successful completion, further advice was provided in the agreement of the completion accounts, ensuring that the due consideration was maximised.
