Phil Sandland

Phil is a Senior Manager in the Forensic Services team based in Birmingham. He is an ACA forensic qualified accountant specialising in financial and non-financial investigations and fraud risk management.

Phil has extensive experience of forensic investigations, contract review and fraud risk management across a wide variety of sectors. In addition, he has undertaken work in relation to commercial disputes resolution, matrimonial, loss of profits and professional negligence litigation, valuations, pre and post transaction advisory services and external audit.

Recently Phil was seconded to the BBC to work within their whistleblowing team, here he conducted investigations, liaised with agencies such as the NAO and NCA as well as triaged whistleblowing concerns and consulting with in-house legal teams. His extensive work developing strong relationships helped to establish the BBC as a sustainable source of work for the future.
